This course prepares unit leaders in areas beyond the basic HALTT training: desert backpacking, snow camping, equipment making, search and rescue, orienteering skills, and more. Leaders completing all sessions receive a certificate and patch. Three years are allowed for completion of Specialist courses after registration.
Specialist Training meets three weekends from 8:00am to 4:00pm, plus two weekend adventure trips. Meetings are held at:
