If YES

Contact the Child Abuse Hotline to report a possible child abuse or neglect by either calling the State of California at (800)-344-6000 or reporting through the San Diego County HHSA online Mandated Reporter Application.
After reporting the possible child abuse or neglect to the State of Tennessee, please request an incident case # to provide with the report to the BSA.
Once this you have obtained the incident case #, please chose one of the three below methods to report the incident to the BSA.

If NO - please chose one of the three below methods to report the incident to Scouting America.

Call the Scouts First Helpline at

which is a dedicated helpline available to receive reports 24 hours per day.

STEP 1: Complete the form appropriate to the nature of your report:

Incident Information Form: This form is used to report all injuries, illnesses, and incidents during Scouting activities.
Youth Protection/Membership Infraction Information Form: This form is used to report all allegations of abuse and violations of BSA guidelines.
Near Miss Incident Information Form: This form is used to report near misses in programs such as COPE and Climbing activities

STEP 2: Report the incident to the council by email your form to Sean Roy, Scout Executive, at Sean.Roy@scouting.org
