Mataguay Scout Ranch Work Party

Participants:

• Scouts (ages 14 and up with parent)
• Venturers
• Adult leaders and volunteers
• (Scouts under 14 will have age appropriate jobs if present)

Project Focus:

Construction and maintenance projects aimed at enhancing camp facilities forSummer Camp 2026. Projects will range from small repairs to larger construction tasks.

Project Objective:

Complete the projects listed below to allow for the success of summer camp2026 and a better experience for the scouts and families.

Another great reason is 60 hours of work contributed by a troop for the work parties below will result in 1 free adult leader for summer camp at MSR 2026!

Details:

For those who wish to spend the night the Casitas will be opened, this is a spot to spend the night and take a hot shower. Food will not be provided by the council.

What to Bring:

• Filled out med forms parts A and B
• Water bottle, proper clothing/work clothing, gloves
• If spending the night: Food, camping equipment, and proper clothing
• Tools if you believe they will be helpful for the project

This Month's Job Scope:

Drywall Repair, Roof Repair, Bathroom Repairs, Bunk Bed Modification, Plumbing,Demolition, Painting, Deck Grinding, and more.
