Troop 3
Troop 3 is a long-standing Scouts BSA troop in Lakeside where boys build friendships, leadership skills, and lasting memories through outdoor adventure, service, and fun. Our troop offers a welcoming, close-knit environment where every scout has the opportunity to participate, lead, and grow. We focus on fun, local weekend campouts, outdoor activities, community service projects, and special events throughout the year, creating experiences that keep scouts active and engaged while fitting alongside school, sports, and other commitments. Troop 3 has a strong tradition of service and involvement within the Scouting community. Scouts regularly participate in community events such as the Vista Viking Festival and Renaissance Faires,
Scouts regularly participate in community events such as the Vista Viking Festival and Renaissance Faires, while many also serve in leadership roles through the Order of the Arrow and on C.O.P.E. staff. These opportunities help scouts develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills that extend far beyond Scouting.
