Do you have bags of flags that need retired? Do you have scouts that need some service hours? Do you want to do something local with your unit on Memorial Day? Well, we have the event for you!
Please join us at the Lakeside rodeo grounds where we will retire, flags, respectively. We are working with the local VFW post to procure names of fallen veterans that we will read off as we retire the flags. We would also love for younger Scouts to work at our cutting station to retire the nylon flags.
Al scouts and scouters are invited to loin us as we retire worn out flags in a patriotic ceremony honoring our national symbol and those who have defended it.
