Youth Shooting Clinic – FREE Event

Join us for a hands-on Youth Shooting Clinic hosted by the San Diego SCI Chapter on May 17, 2026, at the Lemon Grove Rod & Gun Club (near Alpine, CA).

This free clinic is designed to introduce youth to firearms in a safe, supervised, and educational environment. Participants will learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, proper handling, and shooting techniques from experienced instructors.

What to Expect:

• Instruction on safe firearm handling and operation
• Shooting .22 caliber rifles at stationary targets
• Shotgun practice on moving clay targets
• Guidance from trained and knowledgeable volunteers

This is a great opportunity for youth to build confidence, learn responsibility, and develop new skills in a structured outdoor setting.

• Liability waiver and parental consent forms must be completed
• All equipment and instruction are provided
