The San Diego-Imperial Council COPE Program offers L1Instructors Training several times a year. Trained instructors provide support to COPE so that they run programs for the scouts at summer camp, council event, as well as our scheduled weekend adventures.
The San Diego-Imperial Council prides itself on having qualified and helpful volunteers to serve our COPE & Zip Line adventures.These programs help develop our youth in the methods of scouting and provide an exciting adventure that will live on for a lifetime and help them encourage their children the value of scouting.
Level 1 Certification - COPE
When:February 20-22, 2026& March 20-22, 2026
Location:Mataguay Scout Ranch
Cost:$90 – Covers course fees, course binder, harness, helmet, food and lodging for both weekends
All meals provided, Saturday breakfast thru Sunday Lunch. Participants will be camping, please bring your personal gear.
